Strategies for Success

The YUHSD#70 Strategies for Success (SFS) program is an educational option for those students under a long-term suspension. At SFS, students continue their education while observing their disciplinary restrictions from the other campuses of the Yuma Union High School District. The SFS program focuses on character development, educational remediation (when applicable), and re-entry.

We want students to have a positive and healthy experience that helps them return to their home campus. We offer:

To enroll at Strategies for Success, please call 928.502.6800 to schedule an orientation and registration appointment. We hold orientations on the following days and times:

8:15am: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
2:15pm: Tuesday, Thursday

These appointments are to review and agree upon the attendance and behavioral expectations of the SFS Program. Participation in the SFS Program is optional. Enrolled students are eligible to remain in the SFS Program if they are in good standing academically and behaviorally and honor the agreements of the program.

Once the Campus Administrator has met with the Parent and Student regarding the recommendation for long-term suspension, you will receive Information for SFS Enrollment.
